Visiting the amazing Machu Picchu

Hello from Lucian and Dana,

We are passionate about travelling and we’ve been fortunate enough to visit a few countries every year for more than 10 now.

We are native to Romania, a country where travelling was an empty notion, being almost totally forbidden until 1990 when the communist regime was removed. Even after Romania became a free country, it was still quite difficult to travel until late 2000’s when Romania joined the European Union.

Under these circumstances and in our pursuit for happiness we decided to move to the happiest country on earth, Denmark. Joking….but still, our adoptive country gave us the long awaited opportunity to see the world. So in 2011 we put our jobs on hold, and started a half a year journey which took us through two continents and 17 countries.  And we’ve been travelling ever since. Not in a continuous form, but every time we had a chance, and we made sure that the chance will arise at least 3-4 times a year.

Everybody was curious about how we got all this time and money to travel, but we always have the same reply. You don’t need to be rich to travel the world, and we’re the living proof of that. All you need is a little courage, a genuine desire to see what this wonderful world has to offer, and to seek adventure throughout the entire journey.

We totally embrace the saying:

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

Now that we have visited more than 80 countries, what better way to showcase them, other than this just another travel website sharing our:

  • stories
  • experiences
  • photos from all the beautiful places we visited
  • expertise
  • enthusiasm for travel
  • and so much more

We walked the trails at Machu Picchu, swam with dolphins at Kizimkazi-Zanzibar, climbed 5895m to Uhuru Peak-Kilimanjaro, had alligator Pedro as a pet in the Bolivian jungle, trekked the Patagonia’s most amazing mountains, smelled the blood of a fresh kill a lion made in Serenghetti-Tanzania, and the list goes on.

If we manage to inspire people to enrich their lives with experiences that will stay with them forever, we have reached our goal.

We are sure our language mistakes due to the fact that English is not our native language will be easily overseen.

Join us as we travel the world, taste new food and explore local cultures.
